Background:

Shana, the title character of the story is a flame-haired girl with an equally crimson shade eyes. Her physical appearance befits her title as Flame Haze or a protector who maintains the balance in this world.

She was once a human who had a contract with the Lord of Crimson Realm to hunt down the Crimson Denizens or the bad guys set to destroy the balance of the world. Shana is very dedicated to her duty that she gave her sword a name but not herself. Only upon meeting Yuji Sakai did she had a name. Yuji called her Shana after the name of her sword.

Well, in a nutshell, after meeting Yuji and knowing that he is a vessel for a very precious Treasure, she decided to stick around and guard the guy. At the end, she protects him well enough that she forgets to guard her heart and fall in love with him.

Shana is a powerful flame wielder that she can fly with it. She’s an excellent fighter but is adorable naïve when it comes to social grace.
