Personality:
Sayaka had a tomboyish personality. Enthusiastic and aggressive, she wielded a sword that perfectly fits her character. Her wish to become a magical girl was to help her eye-candy, Kyousuke, who has injured his hand severely enough to disable his ability to play the violin.

I’m unsure if her wish to become a Puella Magi was selfish or selfless. Instead of saving others, she wanted to cure her crush’s hand, making her intention look selfish. On the other hand, she was risking her life for someone she cared, making her intention look selfless at the same time. Otherwise, her courage to risk her life was admirable, but reckless. She lost her life when she turned into a witch in the process and was killed. They just had to eliminate my could-be favourite character from the show. :'(
