Fudomine Tennis team is the dark horse of this series. Being the only team that comes from a public school and even gotten themselves involve in a school violence controversy.

Current captain, Kippei Tachibana has a very promising talent in tennis and could actually abandon his team for greater opportunity, but he sticks with them and perseveres to reach the National Tournament. His teammates respected him for that and are very loyal to him.

Throughout the tournament, they made name for themselves and grow in the process. Yet still, Seigaku Tennis team beat them. No surprise on that. Sportsmanship is very visible in this two team as they are very chummy outside court.
