What's pink, squishy, big blue eyes and has a pair of bunny ears? Why, the irresistably adorably Wigglytuff of course! Add this to your collection of Pokémon Kids figurines as a classic piece which cuteness is timeless! Vibrantly-coloured and well-sculpted in detail, these figurines are a sure draw for collectors!
A very bouncy and inflatable Pokémon, Wigglytuff is the final evolved form of Jigglypuff when a Moon Stone is used on it. A Fairy type Pokémon, it is also known as 'Balloon Pokémon' along with Qwilfish and Drifloon, for its ability to inflate its body and bounce or float around, just like a balloon. Pink and white, with big, blue eyes and a tuft of curly hair on its forehead between two rabbit-like ears, Wigglytuff resembles a bunny and is popular for its adorable looks. It is also said that its white underbelly has fur that is so soft, anyone (or any Pokémon, for that matter) who strokes it will not want to stop.
Just like rabbits, Wigglytuff can be found frolicking in grassy fields. To maintain its cute, puppy-eye looks at all times, it has a layer of tears on the surface of its eyes at all times, so it can wash away any debris in it. The 'wiggly' in its name could be inspired by the shape of its body, while 'tuff' could be a wordplay on the word 'tough', which is what it is despite its soft-looking body!
Its unevolved form, Jigglypuff, is famous for its sleep-inducing song. In the Pokémon Johto series, it follows Ash Ketchum and friends around, trying to 'force' them to listen to its singing without falling asleep. Obviously, none of them could get through it, causing Jigglypuff's anger and it to scribble all over their faces with a marker as they slept away!
In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness, Wigglytuff has its own Guild known as the Wigglytuff Guild. It is where Exploration Teams can train to improve their skills, and where players first begin their adventure. Wigglytuff is known as the Guildmaster there, and the entrance of the guild is decorated with a huge Wigglytuff head. Apparently, this guildmaster can sleep with its eyes open, and acts rather childishly with a short temper. It also has an unexplained fondness for Perfect Apples.
