Background:

Seele is secret organization backing up NERVand all its morbid human experimentation works known as Human Instrumentality Project.

Seele is considered the villains of the story other than the Angels. The organization’s origin is unknown but it is said that they have founded long enough to know everything about the coming of Second and Third Impact.

This secret agency has in its possession the Dead Sea Scroll that predicts the arrival of Angels and consequently, the Third Impact. Since twelve know-it-all “Old Men” leads Seele, they decided that human had reached the zenith of its evolutionary cycle thus they seek to find a way to breakthrough our humanly existence. Human Instrumentality includes decomposition on human into molecules that would later on incorporate into one super-being.

Seele is currently under the administration of Keel Lorenz. It is consists of twelve members referred to as “Old Men”. Its motto is: “Above the starry-sky judges God, the way we judged".
