Background:
Maya Ibuki is one of the technicians mostly seen in Central Dogma assisting Evangelions and their pilot in fighting. She is NERV’s First Lieutenant and happily works directly under Dr. Akagi Ritsuko.
She puts Ritsuko on a high pedestal and always refers to her as “senpai”. Her dedication to work is mostly to gain Ritsuko’s admiration. However, looks like she’s still oh-so far from the head scientist’s level. A fact that she knows first hand when she tried to show off her fast code typing skill, which Ritsuko squashed with her super inhuman typing skills.
When the Evas are fighting, her main role is to check their synchronization ratios and often times relay orders from her superior to Eva pilots. Since she is at the frontline of Eva backup, she can see first hand the gruesomeness of the battle. She often averts her eye and sometimes gets sick with it.
She’s mostly seen with other First Lieutenant Shigeru Aoba and Makoto Hyuga.
