The Deal with him: Shikamaru is probably the laziest Genin in Konoha. But he's probably the smartest Genin in the village as well, with an IQ of over 200 points. Shikamaru loves just lying down looking at clouds thinking how carefree they are. Although Shika only knows one technique - the Shadow Imitation Technique, his intelligence often helps him win battles. He is also calm in times of danger. Asuma, his teacher, describes him as "just like an old man" who likes to play chess, taking life at a very slow pace.
Shikamaru became the only genin to pass the Chuunin exams as the other Chuunins and examiners were impressed with him.

as Deimos said, get your facts straight before you start contradicting what this website says. if you watch most of the Naruto episodes and count how many times Shikamaru says 'how troublesome' and 'what a drag,' you'll find that he DOES say 'how troublesome' more often. just because you're a Shika fangirl doesn't mean that you have to act like a know-it-all and start trying to sound smart.

welll first of all shikamaru's most herard phrase is not how troublesome but it is what a drag because everythings seems to be a drag to him this shadow lover is the best character on naruto and he is better than sasuke and some people spells sasuke as saske but it's sasuke and furthermore shikamaru is not PROBABLY the smartest genin because he IS the smartes yay shikamaru you rule!!!!!!!!! XOXOXOXOXO

Plus, KibaInuzuka, in the japanese version his name is Maito Gai. So get your facts straight before you say stuff like that.

Hi KibaInuzuka. "Might Guy" thats funny.
As for 'kyuubi' vs. 'kyubi'. fyi 'kyuubi' is a japanese word not an english word. 'kyuu' means 9 in jap and the 'u' in the word is pronounced longer than merely 'kyu' and thus there are 2 'u's in the romanji writing to accentuate that. it's the same reason y Gaara has 2 'a's in his romanji name instead of just 'Gara'.

The Rock Lee Keychain:You're discription says his teacher's name is "Maito Gai",but is REAL name is Might Guy.As for the Naruto and "Kyuubi" keychain:"Kyuubi" is actually spelled Kyubi not "Kyuubi".That just drives me insane when people do thay,coolthough.
