Background: One of the 7 Shinobi Swordsmen from the Hidden Mist Village

The Deal with him: Momochi Zabuza became a freelance assasin together with Pretty Haku after he fled the Mist Village. He was under Gatou's wing happily terrorizing people before he met copy ninja Hatake Kakashi and his 3 students, Uzumaki Naruto, Uchiha Sasuke and Haruno Sakura. Kakashi put a hole through Zabuza's Pretty Haku and fatally wounded Zabuza while he was in a hysterical frenzy.

Zabuza then revealed his looks by removing the bandages covering his face (and we realized why he hid his face afterall) and used a knife in his mouth to push Gatou into the river (wow) and died side by side with Pretty Haku.
