Sugiura Midori knew Tokiha Mai from he cafe they waitressed together at. She claimed to be 17 years old although nobody really believed her. She took over the job of the history teacher at Fuuka School when the previous teacher was injured by orphans.
Midori has a fun-loving personality and normally functions as comic relief, barging into tense situations between Yuuki Nao and Kuga Natsuki, and organizing disastrous cake making re-exams. Midori also tried to bond the HiMes together as 'HiMe Rangers' and forcing them to go on a group karaoke session.
Midori's Child, a lion with wheels as back legs, was later defeated by Minagi Mikoto, killing her professor, who was most precious to her.
