Fujino Shizuru Biography (Mai HiMe)
- by Meister Platinum
Name: Fujino Shizuru
Age: 17
Birthday: -
Zodiac: -
Gender: Female
HiMe powers: A Naginata
HiMe Child: Kiyohime
Hobbies: Drinking tea
Occupation: Student Council President and HiMe
Love Interest: Kuga Natsuki
In Mai HiMe, Fujino Shizuru is the tea-sipping president of the Student Council. Yes. Tea-sipping. As in we see her all composed and sipping Japanese tea in 9 out of 10 scenes which she appears in. Her coolness earns the popularity of the students and the rivalry of Suzushiro Haruka, the executive of the Student Council, who calls Shizuru the "Buzuzuke Woman", and tries very hard to outdo Shizuru. Not that Shizuru minds, as she can effectively push all the work to Haruka while continuing to slack and sip her tea.
Very early on in the series, the keen eyed would have noticed Shizuru's salivating lusty look everytime Kuga Natsuki uses her laptop. It was a wee bit freaky and sure enough, towards the end of Mai HiMe, Shizuru finally snapped into wide-eyed-twitching insanity when her love for Natsuki was unreciprocated. Shizuru went around killing Natsuki's 'enemies', defeating Yuuki Nao and Kikukawa Yukino, 2 other HiMes, and finally wanting to defeat Natsuki herself to make Natsuki "Mine! You're all mine!!" She got 1 kiss from Natsuki before Natsuki blasts Shizuru's Child, Kiyohime with Duran, killing them both.
The woman seriously needed therapy.

Well, I'm pissed that this is sold out. Shizuru is my favorite character. (I'm big on the ShizNat ;D). I have to say that, the bio isn't all that great, but what I really want is the figure anyway. I suppose anyone who wrote a bio would have their own opinions in it, and though I disagree, I respect that.
Anyway, will you be getting more soon? *hopeful face*.
Thanx

ShizNat4Ever: You are paying for the figurine, not the bio. The biographies are written by Tsunade chan from Narutofever.com and they are free.

I don't get it...is that the biography that's gonna be inside the thing...cuz then, why would people buy it? I mean, the whole point is that we like Shizuru, even if she can sometimes act like a spoiled brat...

Dear HT/Momo,
While I respect your opinions, it's really quite childish to pretend to be 2 separate individuals to post and support your own opinions.

Yeah I agree with HT. Meister Platinum's profile/biography description of Shizuru sounds very biased. It's more opinionated than descriptive. If anything Meister Platinum is the one that needs help.

Uh...it isn't like the other Hime's weren't effected. All of them need therapy.
- Yukino tried to kill Mai because she feared for Haruka's life. And she made the first initial move after finding out the truth about the festival from Nagi
- Mai tried to kill Mikoto when *she herself* also went "Berserk"
- Sister Yukariko disillusioned everyone utilizing her own elements...in fact she's the one that instigated the entire "Nao" mess and got things rolling with the HIME festival. If you had remembered, she was about to kill Mai as well.
- Then there's Reito (Obsidian Lord) who wanted to eliminate all but one Hime so they could shape the world into their liking...except in the end he also tried to kill Mai
- OH! And let's not forget Shiho, who also went insane and tried to kill Mai but instead ended up killing Takumi instead.
And personally there is nothing freaky about the way Shizuru longed after Natsuki. It wasn't like she could blurt out how she felt. Keeping those intense feelings inside is of course challenging. After her conversation with Nagi (listen to the drama CDs) she was aware that losing Natsuki could be a strong possibility if she didn't protect her. Nagi spilled the beans and let her know that Natsuki shared the same fate as Shizuru.
In the Drama CD, Shizuru mentions that she was happy to be near Natsuki any chance she could get and that was all it could ever be...friendship. She was in fear of Natsuki rejecting her if she ever found out about Shizuru's true feelings so all she could do was keep it to herself and just be there for Shizuru as a friend and nothing more. In the end, even though Natsuki didn't reciprocate the *same* kind of romantic love, she did consider her, the MVP in her life, hence the reason why her CHILD grew enormous. In the end, Natsuki did accept her love. For now, Natsuki mentioned to Sakomizu that she didn't want to love since it could lead her into destruction as well just like her mother and Shizuru but Sakomizu tried to convince her that the world basically revolves around that thing called love. Either way, Natsuki is just taking baby steps and for now, she's at least learned to accept Shizuru's feelings.
Anyhow, it sounds like you're very uncomfortable with the whole alternative lifestyle thing...otherwise you wouldn't be effected by it.
