Konata Izumi is constantly teased by her classmate for having a smaller-than-average-height. She doesn’t really affect her that much, except for Kagami Hiiragi’s constant barbs.
But, as the saying goes, great things come in small packages. True enough, Konata is more than meets the eye. She is a certified A-list manga reader and collector, anime fanatic and video game master! Bad thing about her though is that, she indulges her video games appetite way too much that she doesn’t get enough sleep every time. The sight of her closed eyes and the sound of her snores is a regular event in her class.
If not for her laziness to do things aside from her regular activities, she would have top her class. She excels in her sports class but never once join any club due to her morbid fear of these extra curricular activities affecting her anime viewing schedule.
Konata lives with her father, who is a big fan of adult video games. She has a friendly personality and treasures her friendship with her classmate which she often shows by pestering them with her endless random questions.
