Storm ring is the ring that “fiercely blows away everything”, which is also the perfect description for its guardian, Smokin’ Bomb Hayato Gokudera.
During the Vongola Ring Tournament, Belphegor owned the other half of the ring and fought Gokudera for the right to be a core member of the family. The battle was explosive indeed and that Gokudera needs to forfeit his ring rather than die. Tsunayoshi Sawada managed to defeat Belphegor at the battle of Sky Ring.
The main characteristic of Storm ring is degeneration that gives Gokudera the ability to disintegrate any substance. He mostly uses it to break down and recreate powerful explosives. Upon future arc, the storm flame can summon a scorpion with fire-emitting tail from its ring box. Gokudera, like Hibari, experimented on the power of his ring until he managed to create new ring boxes that can summon greater and stronger weapons.
