Background:
Wanyuudou is the first person Enma Ai recruited as her assistant in delivering revenge. He looks very ordinary going around in his traditional Japanese clothes and brown felt hat. A trait that makes it easy for him to investigate people without raising suspicion.
He smiles a lot but actually hides a tragic and painful past. During the war, he was betrayed by his comrade and burned alive inside a horseless carriage by the enemy. Thus, his troubled spirit roams around in a form of a burning carriage to scare the village people.
Enma finds him like this and Wanyuudou tried to crash into her but Enma turned him back to his human form. Enma asked him if he wanted to follow her and he answered yes. Then on, he receives his missions.
His role is mainly to transport Enma where she is needed, meaning in hell. He also assists in tormenting human sent to hell in realizing their sins.
