Kikyo from Inuyasha was a powerful priestess who had a heart so pure it could purify the Shikon no Tama (The Shikon Jewel or the Jewel of the Four Souls). She was entrusted with the care of the Shikon Jewel by the demon slayers to keep it safe from demons and others who sought after the Jewel's powers.
One of seekers was the half demon Inuyasha who wanted to use the Shikon Jewel's powers to become a full fledged demon. Kikyo always spared Inuyasha's life, empatizing with his fate of being only half a human. They soon fell in love and Kikyo promised to use the Shikon Jewel to help Inuyasha become fully human.
However, the vile demon Naruku sought to taint the Jewel's purity by setting up Kikyo and Inuyasha to hate each other. Kikyo was fatally wounded in that battle and died after sealing Inuyasha to a tree. Her sister, Kaede burned the Shikon Jewel with Kikyo's body to destroy the Jewel.
500 years later, Kikyo's soul was reincarnated to be a 15 year old school girl Higurashi Kagome, who fell down her family shrine's ancient well to emerge into the Feudal Era. The Shikon Jewel reincarnated with Kikyo's soul inside Kagome was torn out by a centipede demon and once again resurfaced, luring many demons after it, among them, the demon Urasue.
Urasue re-created Kikyo's body from mud and successfully resurrected her. Kikyo then became a wandering zombie, stealing other people's souls to sustain her body, kept alive by the hatred she harboured for Inuyasha right before she died. She settled in a shrine of a village to help the injured and occasionally turn up to confuse Inuyasha and occassionally helping Naraku to gather the Shikon Jewel shards, planning to kill him once he gathered all the shards.
Unlike the wholesome priestess that she was when she was alive, Kikyo was freed from purity at death and is now free to hate.

Yes Inuyasha and Kikyo will be in loove forever and Kagome should go back to her own time and marry Hojo even is she is the reincarnation of Kikyo. Inuyasha and kikyo should be together!

Will inuyasha and Kikyo be together for ever. And Kagoma will go to her other world. Inyasha and kikyo can become human and have couple of kids.
