Jakotsu from Inuyasha is one of the assasins from the Shichinintai, the band of 7 assasins who were so cruel and powerful that they had to be exterminated. 10 years after their execution, Naraku brought them back to life with his Shikon Jewel shards, promising to let them keep the shards after they defeated Inuyasha and Naraku's other enemies.

Jakotsu was the 1st member of the Shicinintai, after his good friend Bankotsu decided to form and lead a gang of assasins. He uses the Snake Bone Sword, which could twist and turn with a snake's agility. He is a cross-dresser, wearing a pink kimono and pulling up the left leg sleeve to reveal his sexy leg (and sometimes abit of bum).

He is also a homosexual with a very twisted sort of adorable personality. He is 'in love' with Inuyasha, and finds Inuyasha and his dog ears extremely cute. He also thinks Sesshomaru and Miroku are sexy (I so totally agree! Jakotsu has good taste in men), but prefers Inuyasha. He shows his love by wanting to kill Inuyasha, and gets very excited when he sees Inuyasha angry or in pain. The conclusion is Jakotsu has a pervasion for bondage.

Jakotsu may be a very skilled fighter, but he cannot count very well. And although he seems to be a cold blooded assasin, he is fiercely loyal and trusting to his brothers of the Shicinintai.
