Murrue Ramius was suddenly made captain of the Earth warship Archangel when most of the Archangel crew along with the captain died when ZAFT launched a surprise attack at Heliopolis.
Captain Ramius was responsible for getting our hero, Kira Yamato, involved in the whole war by getting him to board the Strike Gundam, the Earth Alliance's prototype mobile suit gundam with her. She is also responsible for later getting his friends stuck in the Archangel as they saw the Strike, a military secret.
Ramius had 2 co-commanders. Her co-captain, Natarle Badgiruel, was very stiff, though she was more decisive that Ramius. Mwu La Fraga, the pilot of the mobile armour skygrasper, was more compassionate, like Ramius herself. Thus, it is not surprising that Ramius is more relaxed around Fraga and we sense suspiciously that something's brewing between the two. True to our speculation, they got together when Archangel became a refugee ship when it escaped from Alaska.

Oh, and FYI... The love intrest to this character is Mu La Flaga, not Mwu La Fraga. It's spelled absolutely and completely different from his name. And yes, this makes it very obvious that I'm a major fan to mobile suit series.
