I also think that Flay dosent feally understand or dosnt know her full fellings. like sai said in ep 32 she may have started hers and Kiras relasonship so she culd use him but Kira is a kind and caring boy so she must have grown some feelings for him, and if you watch ep 32 when Miriallia is crying that Tolle is dead but Dearka is still alive Flay not only thinks of her father she also thinks of Kira.

I think that even thow she hated coordinators that she did have some fealing for Kira. I also think that her hatetrid of coordinators is because she is affrad of them. I know that dosnt give her the right to use or hurt peopal but remeber shes still just a kid who hasnt yet learnd how to deal with thos feelings.

Flay also gives the show a more realistic feel becuse the truth is war changs peopal and not always for the better.

I also hated how she died exspsaly because she never really got to sort herself out and become a better person. Flay starts out as a bit of a brat then tuerns into a minepulater and then lets herself be used by Rau Le Creuset so she never gets to learn how to become a better person.

Those who say that Flay started to come right in the later episodes are bang on. She and Kira really did love each other, and it was great to see her Ben Kenobi act (in her birthday suit) in the last episode.

Why do ppl hate flay so much? I adore her! Yeah she was kinda bitchy at the beginning but she turned good over time! She made the show quite intresting IMO. I think her and kira were also a way cuter couple then lacus and kira. Flay is a great character. U just gotta understand her. She isnt psychotic either FYI. I wish she didnt die... Flay is one of my favorite characters in Gundam Seed. I respect the fact that other people have different opinions of her. And i know that a large population of GS fans hate her, so what? She might be bad or something but its really funny that people waste such strong an emotion such as hat on a no-good (as they claim) character like her. Apathy would be the best if you really dislike her. Actually, i dislike most of the characters (except for Mu La Flaga and Murrue Ramius- I totally love them) as they are 'formula' characters', being either too good, blahblahblah and/or too likable. Well, its my opinion and I have the right to have one as you all have yours.

I'm not one to say things, but I just hate how u speak of her. She's one of my favorite characters really. I lyke her better than Lacus and Cagalli. I just hate it when u said some of the things about her. She's not psycho either!

While I don't like Flay all that much, I think that she really shouldn't be hated for anything. Yes, true, she was such a slut but while she was discriminating, she didn't do any psycho-mad-crazt-manipulative actions until after seeing her father die, leaving her very traumatised. Yes, I understand that this doesn't give her any right but put yourself into her shoes! Like many of the people around her and the way/manner she was brought up, she only understood that revenge was what she soughted. And how she did that wasn't the best way ever (esp in her state of mind) but... it was the only way she could think of: make kira fight, fight, die.

p.s. On an extra note, I don't like Kira for accepting her despite KNOWING that she is his friend's fiancee
