Background:

ZAFT made a name for itself as the mighty military organization for PLANT (Productive Location Allied Nexus of Technology) colonies and is powerful enough to affect both economic and political aspects of each colony.

Originally, Siegel Clyne and Patrick Zala founded ZAFT as a political organization. But eventually it becomes a tool for Zala’s ideals to destroy Earth along with all the Naturals since he’s blaming them for the death of his beloved wife. Revenge of course triggers this reactions and gives spice to our story.

ZAFT is primarily made up of civilian volunteers or those genetically enhanced coordinators. As it gained more power, it gained more weapons in their artillery. Aside from their main killing machine, the Mobile Suits, they have taken full advantage of nuclear technology to create destructive weapons such as Neutron Jammer, the Neutron Jammer Canceller, and the Neutron Stampeder.
