The pink-haired princess is one of the characters in Gundam Seed Destiny whose personality didn't change much since Gundam Seed. Still the ever peace-loving girl, viewers are very much convinced that she and Kira Yamato are the perfect match (hell, any girl's better than that psycho Flay Allster)
The former celebrity's life was in danger in Gundam Seed Destiny though, as the current chairman of Plant, Gilbert Dullindal, sent assasins after her life. Her career as a singer also seem to be in peril as her impersonator, Meer Campbell transformed her sanitized image to a Britney Spears sex appeal image.
The multiple broadcasts of the Britney-Clyne concerts on funky pink Gundams were the last straw. To teach the impersonator a lesson, Lacus stole a space shuttle with the help of Andrew Waltfeld and parks herself in space in the repaired Eternal and Terminal Satellite Factory, engineering new Gundams for her boyfriend.
When their position was discovered, they tried to escape back to Earth, and Kira appears to save the day (as usual) and Lacus once again hands him a very cool mobile suit Gundam. This time, the Strike Freedom.

As a kid I adored Lacus clyne now I think she's a gimmic of all plastic dolls I dont like picking on peopel but really?? what makes Lacus so great??? I agree with Ray and Rei_ayanami she does suck

Lacus does suck, she is fake, toooooo perfect, annoying and the gsd story wouldnt have sucked without her because shes an overall crappy character. I dont HATE her i just cant stand her. Is that the same thing? Oh well w.e. she sucks

Alright hears what i think of Lacus clyne:She's plastic,fake,she's crappy i wish she never even was on the show i would like it better becuse SHE SUCKS!!!! sorry lacus fans.
