Following her fiesty performance in Gundam Seed, Cagalli has turned into a useless puppet in Gundam Seed Destiny. Getting cornered into a wedding with a purple-haired jerk was but one of the screw-ups that has viewers shaking their head in disgust.
But one must constantly be reminded that Cagalli is afterall, a 18 year old girl trying to run a country amidst a pack of balding middle aged wolves as her advisors. After Cagalli was rescued by ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam, the Mobile Suit Gundam piloted by her Coordinator twin brother Kira Yamato during her wedding, she took up refuge in the warship Archangel and went on heroic exploits with the crew in attempts to stop battles.
Cagalli is the girlfriend of her Coordinator bodyguard, Athrun Zala, ex-Zaft Mobile suit Gundam pilot. Their relationship later gets questionable when he returns to Zaft.
Before Cagalli inherits the super expensive looking golden Akatsuki Gundam left to her by her dead father, she piloted a funky neon pink Mobile Suit Gundam, the Strike Rouge Gundam. Akatsuki was made of gold, could deflect enemy attacks (her father knew she sucked at avoiding attacks) and amazingly hidden for years on an island (and still be in perfect mint condition.)

How dare to say that!!!!... you don't even know her... that well. you judge her that easily because you're not in her position. how would you feel if your own father place a heavy burden of managing a country in your shoulders even if your just a child.

Omg no!!!!!!!! not the orb princess...I dont like her at all she's my most hated anime female she's so hotheaded and bratty and doesnt get the consept of war and never will so sorry cagalli fans but I simply dont like her...
