Background:

Tieria Erde is an artificial human who pilots Gundam Virtue/Nadleeh and later on Seravee Gundam. He acts and thinks that he is above human beings making him aloof and distant to other meisters.

He’s the only one among the meisters who can directly access Veda, Celestial Being’s supercomputer (much like Evangelion’s Magi). But there is one area he is restricted to enter, which is Level 7. This level is believed to have all the meisters informations. Tiere’s background is unknown, maybe even to him.

He initially appears strict and cold. He thinks his fellow meisters are unfit to pilot Gundam and often makes snippy remarks at them for their impetuous actions. Yet, like Setsuna, he has a strong sense of loyalty to Gundam’s ideals. To everyone’s surprise, he backs up Setsuna in his decision to terminate the their so-called ally, Team Trinity since they are staining Gundam’s good name. And in all fairness, they make a good team.

After Lockon saved his life, his detached personality slowly started to change and seems to view the other pilots as friends already.
