Background:

Setsuna F. Seiei is the emo meister of Gundam Exia and later on 00 Gundam. He’s a brooding young man who acts as if he was molested when he’s still a boy. He doesn’t want to be touch and often spends his time alone in his dark room.

He’s an orphan who used to be a child soldier for the terrorist group KPSA. This is the group that was responsible for the massacre of his fellow pilot, Lockon Stratos family. Lockon confronted him about it at gunpoint but decided against shooting him.

Lockon once called him, “Gundam Maniac” and Setsuna takes it as the highest compliment he ever received, even smiling a little upon hearing it. He thinks highly of Gundam and believes in Celestial Beings ideals of using force to end war thus gaining peace. He denounced his belief in God but somehow sees the Gundam as divine beings.

Setsuna is a walking dynamite with his recklessness and stubbornness. He is easy carried away by his emotions that often put him and his fellow meisters in trouble. Four years after Celestial Being’s intervention, Setsuna seems to be a bit emotionally stable and less reclusive. Still brooding but now shares him two cents.

His piloting skills are excellent and almost faultless if not one for his emo attacks. He’s also a good combatant and very adept at using blades.

Lockon is a dedicated pursuer of peace and would go as far as fighting even if he is injured. He engages in a fierce battle between his nemesis, Ali Al-Saachez that ended in a way that made the other meisters cry.
