Background:

Sohma Yuki is the epitome of finesse. His good looks and gentle demeanor makes him the idol of their high school. He might have been perfect if he’s not cursed.

The whole Sohma clan is cursed to transform into animal spirits from the Chinese Zodiac. Yuki turns into a rat whenever embrace by the opposite sex. Yet transforming never lessen his appeal and his grace. (Move over Stuart Little!) Yuki sure is one adorable rat!

Even with the popularity that he has, Yuki actually has no friends and quite isolated. Aside from keeping his curse a secret, in truth, he has low self-esteem. His childhood is a bleak story of a child being isolated and locked up in a dark room. He only starts to open-up when Honda Tohru offered him friendship.
