History Background:
Erza grew up in Rosemary village when it was attacked by a cult. She was imprisoned by the cult and forced to build the Tower of Heaven with the other slaves (most of them being children) for the purpose of reviving the Dark Mage, Zeref. Erza’s last name Scarlet was given by her friends during her imprisonment in the tower due to her blood-red hair. Then the day came when they planned and decided to escape the tower. Unfortunately, they were caught and a war broke out between the guards and the slaves. She lost many friends in that fight. Her magical powers activated for the first time and took out her enemies. As she reunited with her friend Jellal, his personality had changed completely. He defeated the guards mercilessly and brutally. He had been possessed by the spirit of Zeref. There and then, he released Erza, forbidding her from speaking of the Tower of Heaven to anyone, even the government, or her friends still trapped in the tower will pay with their lives. When she arrived in Fiore, Erza decided to join Fairy Tail Guild.

Personality:
Over the years, Erza became stricter in order to obtain the position of the guild’s disciplinarian. She often disapproves of the bad habits and behaviour of her fellow guild members. The others would obey her, in fear of triggering her fury. Erza is also a very impatient person, frowning upon people who take forever to answer her questions. However in all, she is a socially awkward person. As I have mentioned about Natsu’s weakness, Erza’s weakness is one that I find funny too. She can’t hold her liquor too well and when drunk, she recognizes nobody and acts violently towards others.
